In 2020, Nina Nørgaard was invited by GANNI’s Creative Director, Ditte Reffstrup, to participate in the GANNI Kiosk—a visionary project bringing together 10 female artists to share their perspectives on what the year 2020 would bring. While the world was unexpectedly shaped by the global pandemic, Nina Nørgaard’s contribution focused on a dream of sustainability and joy. The project became an exploration of recycled glass and a celebration of playfulness, challenging the traditional boundaries of glass design during a time of isolation. A highlight of the collaboration was a series of hand-sculpted glass knobs—small, functional pieces of art designed to personalize furniture and interiors, echoing GANNI’s DIY spirit and introducing what was later to become a Nina Nørgaard classic.
